The
workshop will take place
at the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao (use this link for
satellite view).
This faculty is surrounded by some very known public buildings such as
the Stadium San Mamés of the local football team (Athletic
de Bilbao),
the main bus station (Termibus), or the Local Treasury.
Close
to
the main entry of the Faculty is the subway station "San
Mamés", the
tramway stop "San Mamés" and the RENFE Train Station of "San

If you are
reaching Bilbao by the main highway A8, you should
take the "West Exit" ("Bilbao Mendebala / Bilbao Oeste").
Then follow the the main road (Sabino Arana) and take the second right
lane, to turn right and take "Simon Bolivar" Street. Then turn left and
take "Jose Maria Escuza" street and then left again to take "Alameda
Urkijo". Follow straight until you reach the Stadium. To the left of
the Stadium you will see the Faculty building. Close to the subway lift
is the entrance to the Faculty parking lot.

If you arrive to Bilbao by plane
there are two choices:
- The Bizkaibus A3247 public
bus (€1.25) leaves the airport towards the "Termibus"
bus terminal every 30 minutes, from 6:20 to 0:00. It also stops at
Plaza Moyua. Time to get to the bus terminal is about 30 minutes.
- The Airport Taxi service
(approx. 25€) takes about 20 min. depending on the traffic
load.
