Important: please note that Google Maps is not updated due to the recent opening of the new entrance to the city. The building where the workshop will be held is also new, but some images are available on Google Street View.

The woskshop will take place near the bus station, subway and Cercanías train entrances and bus and trolley stops.

By plane

Bilbao (BIO) airport, Loiu, is one of the most important airports in the north of Spain. Several international companies operate in this airport. Regular bus number 3247 connects the airport with the bus station of Bilbao (last stop). The trip costs 1,40€ and takes about 25-30 min. The bus stops at Gran Vía street, Moyua square and Alameda Recalde street too. You can take a taxi instead the bus (20 min and 25 eur approximately). You can also rent a car on the ground floor of the airport. Several companies offer this service: Alvis, Enterprise Atesa, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt.

By bus

The bus station of Bilbao, Termibus, is very close to the workshop venue (1 min walking distance, see the map above).

By train

The central train station of Bilbao is the Abando station in the downtown. Upon arrival, you can reach the workshop venue using either the subway (L1 or L2, San Mamés stop) or the Cercanías-Renfe train service (C-1 or C-2, San Mamés stop). The Abando station has its own subway entrance.

By car

You can come to the workshop venue by car. From the A8 highway, take the new San Mamés exit (see images below or check this website in Spanish). When entering Bilbao, the workshop venue is the first building you will see on the left after the tunnel. This is a blue/green parking zone. You can check time limitations and prices here (Spanish).
