ALIA is a pioneering initiative in the European Union that seeks to provide a public infrastructure of AI resources, such as open and transparent language models, to boost the promotion of Spanish and co-official languages - Catalan and Valencian, Basque and Galician – in the development and deployment of AI in the world.
This is an open project that is distinguished by its transparency, in line with the European AI Act and openness to promote innovation and the adoption of technologies, guaranteeing technological reliability and social and economic inclusion.
ALIA kit is the space that provides access to all resources in Spanish and co-official languages such as language models, multimodal models (text, voice, and image), methodologies, documentation, and training and evaluation data sets.
