At Aholab / HiTZ we work on advanced speech and language technologies: speech synthesis, automatic speech recognition, adaptive and personalized voices, speech reconstruction from biosignals, and more.
We are looking for young students interested in helping develop the communication technologies of the future.

If you are still finishing your Master’s degree
We offer a part-time research position compatible with Master’s studies.
If you have recently completed your Master’s degree
We offer a full-time research position integrated into ongoing real-world research projects.
What will you work on?
Our current research areas include:

- Neural speech synthesis (TTS)
- Adaptive and personalized voices
- Automatic speech recognition (ASR)
- Speech enhancement and analysis
- Speech reconstruction based on biosignals
- Deep Learning applied to speech and language
- Human-machine communication
Technologies and skills
The following will be especially valued:

- Python programming skills
- Interest in artificial intelligence and Deep Learning
- Signal processing knowledge
- Curiosity and motivation for research
Previous experience in speech technologies is not required.
